Hi everybody,
I would like to ask you Debian or Ubuntu? Why?
The question rise because seen I have started with Debian there is a lot good stuff than works in Debian too. Are they the same? Thank you for your opinion. (please justify)
Dont get me wrong...... When I've asked to Justify is please give reason why would one be better than the other one. I have spent lot of time in Debian now I will try Ubuntu later when I get more programming done that is my goal.
I've just asked because a lot of problem that I am having in Debian (mainly installation) the solution are in Ubuntu forum page. lol, Maybe I've picked up the wrong OS lol.
When I get more time I will installed Ubuntu and try it myself, no any time soon though!
I am trying to get on with programming on Debian/linux at the moment!
thanks for your comments so far!

No Debian and Ubuntu are not the same thing-- a few minutes at Distrowatch and the two websites will show you a lot of differences.
If I understand you correctly, you are familiar with Debian----if you want to compare Ubuntu, why not try it??
I have a lot! nothing run smoothly to be honest! I see some guy saying that eclipse works straight away in Ubuntu. I just have installed the eclipse and it doesn't want to compile, please look at my post if you want to know more details
Things like this really!
