Operating system selection screen
Hello All,
I have uninstalled linux and the screen that linux uses to let you select the operating system of which you would like to boot, will not go away! I uninstalled linux in windows with Partition Magic 8.0. I deleted the linux partition and the swap file partition. What do i do? all help would be greatly appriciated:D |
fdisk /mbr
But as an admin you should know stuff like that, mate ... Cheers, Tink |
Thank you that was very helpful.
As far as the admin part goes. If you have ever been to PuPpYpc.com you would know that i deal with Windows XP problems, not linux. So i wouldnt know would i? |

If I had removed somethings partition, and it still bugs me (like a virus, for instance) I'd assume that it lives in the master boot record. And in the "good old days" <shivers> I've done a fdisk /mbr a few times ... :) If it were a Linux-specific problem, why would I use a DOS tool to cure it? ;) Cheers, Tink |
