Operating system selection screen
 
Hello All,

I have uninstalled linux and the screen that linux uses to let you select the operating system of which you would like to boot, will not go away! I uninstalled linux in windows with Partition Magic 8.0. I deleted the linux partition and the swap file partition.

What do i do?

all help would be greatly appriciated:D

fdisk /mbr

But as an admin you should know
stuff like that, mate ...

Thank you that was very helpful.

As far as the admin part goes. If you have ever been to PuPpYpc.com you would know that i deal with Windows XP problems, not linux. So i wouldnt know would i?

Is that a trick-question? :)

If I had removed somethings partition, and
it still bugs me (like a virus, for instance) I'd
assume that it lives in the master boot record.

And in the "good old days" <shivers> I've done
a fdisk /mbr a few times ... :)

If it were a Linux-specific problem, why would
I use a DOS tool to cure it? ;)
