opera tar.gz install help
 

Hi all, i downloaded apera tar gz im not sure what i do whit it after
estraction .when i type opera on the terminal , i recive this messagge: the opera binary is not located at /home /bipet/ lib /opera / etc, please modify the wrapper script at "/home /bipet/bin/opera"
can anyone help me

there should be a ReadMe file in the Opera folder

if it's anything like netscape or mozilla then you need to cd to the opera folder and either
./configure
make
su
make install

or run an installer script

i got the rpm (am also using mdk9.1) and it installed and works perfectly

Did you do it as root?
There is no readme, but there is a binary in the package.
