Opera always start near-maximized - aargh

Hey all,

my Opera is driving my insane these days. When I start it, it starts in a near-maximized size ALWAYS. I run in 1280x1024 and Opera starts in 1278x857. This is *extremely* annoying. How can I make it understand that I dont want it to usurp my desktop? I have been fooling around in ~/.opera/opera6.ini, but it simply overrides my alterations and starts in near-max anyway. I've been all around the web, but to no avail.

I hope there is someone who can help me, before I take it out on whomever is the closest ;-)
