Thumbs down OpenVas not working on Debian 7.7!!!

Hello.
I used below link to Install OpenVAS on debian 7.7 :

http://www.openvas.org/install-packa...vas_debian_obs

But when I enter :

root@hack3rcon:/home/jason# /etc/init.d/openvas-scanner start
Starting OpenVAS Scanner: openvassd.
root@hack3rcon:/home/jason# /etc/init.d/openvas-manager start
Starting OpenVAS Manager: ERROR.

How can I solve it?

I copy and paste some progress here :

root@hack3rcon:/home/jason# openvasmd --rebuild
root@hack3rcon:/home/jason# openvas-scapdata-sync

*While OpenVAS may be a security-related application your question is not. Hence I moved it from Linux Security to the Software forum. Should you think it would be more appropriate in another forum then use the "report" button on your initial post and ask the moderators to move it for you.

When a daemon does not start then the first reflex is to look at the log file. Also some daemons do not run out of the box but require initial configuration. Ensure you have read the installation documentation. Also do search LQ because there may be related threads already, for example https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...9/#post5279936 may apply to you. (Aka read the documentation first.)

Try doing these commands. It looks like you are missing a few folders or files.

Code:
mkdir /usr/share/openvas/cert

Code:
openvassd
openvasmd --rebuild
openvas-scapdata-sync
openvas-certdata-sync
Then

Code:
killall openvassd
sleep 15
mkdir /etc/openvas/gnupg
/etc/init.d/openvas-scanner start
/etc/init.d/openvas-manager start
/etc/init.d/openvas-administrator restart
If you are still having problems, I can post the instructions I have written up for a start the finish install.

$sudo mkdir /etc/openvas/gnupg
mkdir: cannot create directory `/etc/openvas/gnupg': No such file or directory

Should I create "openvas" directory ?

Sorry I did miss that step. You will need to create the openvas directory first.

You can also try the openvas setup check tool which might tell you if something is missing.

http://www.openvas.org/setup-and-start.html

Code:
wget https://svn.wald.intevation.org/svn/openvas/trunk/tools/openvas-check-setup --no-check-certificate
chmod +x openvas-check-setup
./openvas-check-setup --v6

Ok, it looks like it isn't detecting your openvas-scanner. You will want to try to force a re-install using Aptitude.

Code:
apt-get install --force-reinstall true openvas-scanner

I installed it from source code.
If I install it from package manager can it make any conflict?
