openSuSE > KDE > Activities: Where are the config-files?

I found the ~/Desktop file, though I'm not entirely sure about its functionality. But where are the concrete Activities kept? I mean information about layout, needed programs and applets, what to run...

Google closes its "lips" quite tightly here. Any nice links or further information etc. would be appreciated .

In a terminal, try "find ~/.kde/share/config -type f | xargs grep -i activity" (without quotes). That may show you which file(s) contain information regarding activities.

Among others that gets me a "activitymanagerrc" file which contains this:

Umm. Not exactly as human-readable as I had hoped .

The contents of "plasma-desktop-appletsrc" are readable. But I can't really be sure without a manual what the individual data mean.

Ahh, well. I had hoped to find out more about how to use activities (e.g. ho to name or edit them). Maybe the next version of KDE will be more intuitively understandable.

Thanks for your input, bigrigdriver .
