OpenSSL questions
Hi I have a webserver with apache + MySQL + php, I think they're all with the latest versions, I run a forum (phpBB3) on this webserver, but I realised the forum can't use my gmail account to send emails through google's smtp because I need to have openssl enabled on my php (that's what I was told).
So, I've been following some tutorials and already installed OpenSSL (which is available in the synaptic package manager. I'm using Debian here) with apt-get. The problem is, I think I'm ready to re-configure php and compile it with the OpenSSL option, however I don't know where is the OpenSSL directory (need to specify it in the ./configure command of php), and I have already searched in /usr/local and other locations, without success. What should I do? Is there anyway I can see where the hell my system installed OpenSSL? |
