hi, whats the directive for disabling reverse dns with the openssh sshd daemon ? I THOUGHT it was this ...

Which version are you using? Are you sure that it supports the UseDNS option? I just checked the man page for sshd_config on a system running 3.5.1p1 and that option is not available.
