opensource svg renderer in c

I am working on this project for my school using only the xserver and the xlib api and nothing else, no window manager or desktop environment, and here's where I'm stuck: what I need to do is render a SVG file and get me an array of RGBA color values with antialiasing. To do that i need a SVG renderer , but almost all the renderers that i have found online are extremely lightweight, and are way too simple to do any advanced SVG stuff like when a SVG file produces an image that has some sort of a shadow, the one I've looked at in detail is nanosvg, and what that does is that is able to render almost all SVG files except for when the file has a shadow around the shape. What it does in that situation is that it only generates an array of RGBA colors that when you iterate through that array and map that on to the display you get the shape but without the shadow effect, and I want the SVG renderer to render everything, including shadows and what not in to the array so that when I map that array on to the display i get every single detail that the SVG file was supposed to produce.

So i was wondering if anyone here could point me to an open source SVG renderer or parser project in C so that I can get the desired effects I want and move on with the project.

P.S. It would be helpful if you could point me to a SVG renderer that has rendering capabilities for almost all the features of SVG 1.1 and can be coded to give an array of RGBA colors that when mapped onto the display gives a smooth antialiased image of the SVG.

antialiasing, svg, xlib, xml, xserver
