Opensource Clone / Alternative to TeamViewer ?
 

Hello,

Would you know eventually a possible Opensource Clone / Alternative to TeamViewer ?

There is VNC, but it aims something else and it hasn't the easy install/run/use features of teamviewer.

Remote desktop sharing: Chrome remote desktop. https://chrome.google.com/remotedesktop

OpenSSH is supreme for remote controlling. openssh.com Remmina might be good for viewing another desktop remotely.

Web conferencing: Apache OpenMeetings. http://openmeetings.apache.org/

File transferring: gFTP. https://www.gftp.org/

Chat: uTox. tox.chat

These are just my preferred applications. There are a ton more out there. :)

Really Open? I doubt concerning google stuffs ;)

I'm not a great fan of Google, nor of Chrome, but I'm also not a great fan of those who disparage others with no evidence.

As above, any number of tunnels with either distro supplied remote or add on.

You can have a look at on premise R-HUB remote support servers. It is a very good teamviewer alternative which works from behind the firewall, hence better security.
