Hello everyone. I'm a big-time newbie, (Been using RH9 for 2 weeks) and I've got a question about OpenOffice 1.0 Writer:

Adjusting left and right margin sizes is easy enough, (simply slide tabs on the "ruler" left or right) but how can I change the header and footer sizes? That is, say I want to start typing .5" or .25" from the top of the page, instead of the standard 1". How can I do this?

In MS-Word, you could go to File, Page Set-up, and you could make your margins, header, and footer as large or as small as you want....But I cant for the life of me figure out how to change header/footer sizes in Open Office Writer.

Sorry to bother about this, I've looked through help files with no avail.

Click on:
Format->Page->Header

Format->Page->Footer

Turn on Headers and Footers

Then set the header and footer margins in centimeters.
