openOffice template directory - what is the pathname?

Hi
Is there a path to the openOffice template? I'd like to download a screenwriting software into that directory. (The screenwriting software from http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...ckage_id=98242)
I'm using Fedora2 platform and Mozilla-1.6 browser. Please let me know. Much thanks.

Tina

Hi

That folder is empty. Where I'm placing this download file is supposed to contain openOffice templates. That way, according to installation instruction, "the template will then be available through SYLES > PAGE STYLES, or from NEW > TEMPLATES AND DOCUMENTS.". It could be that those instructions were for a Windows environment. Regardless, I expected to find similar template folder in the openOffice program.

I'been searching for any folder named openOffice (os, open, etc.) with a template path. Haven't found it yet. If you have further suggestions I'd be glad to received them.

Go to

Tools/Options/Paths

and the directory that OpenOffice thinks contains templates should be shown, as well
as all the other directories for various resources.

You can change any or all of these at will.

Much thanks for your response.

I found a program at this link http://www.celtx.com/download.html. I'm using it instead.
