OpenOffice.org problems

I'm using slackware 9.1. I installed and everything went smoothly. Except I do not see it in the "applications" menu for either users or root. I installed as workstation also and it still did not create them. I am using GNOME windows manager.

Thanks in advance.

Addition to the menu is not automatic and depends on the way the package installs itself. You can however do it manually. Under GNOME, go to the menu you would like, right click the mouse and choose "add launcher to this menu". Follow from there.
