OpenOffice.org Impress Backgrounds

I'm looking for more backgrounds for Impress. Anyone know where I can get some or even install some of my own backgrounds?

Try SOT Office 2003

www.sot.com

It is built on top of OpenOffice with their own goodies added in. It is a much better program in my opinion than OpenOffice, but not nearly as good as StarOffice.

If you are a student you can download StarOffice for free from www.sun.com

What makes you like it more than OpenOffice? Why do you think StarOffice is the best?

StarOffice has a lot of templates and stuff, and is just a more polished product. But for Impress, SOT is the best. It has something like 10 different themes for Impress, the only thing I dont like about SOT is you have to download an ISO and burn it. But, they both have more functionality and features than OpenOffice.

OK thanks for the info! Think I'll have to try the staroffice student version then. Just like you I don't like the ISO thing and if it's best for impress I don't use that much.

I'll have to try SOT then. Thanks for the tip!

Sorry, I was wrong, you can download just an RPM for SOT if you want, and then you run the program and it installs a couple megabytes worth of files in your home directory and then you can use SOT Office. If you want other versions, such as Windows or Mac, download the CD, because it includes them all.
