openoffice help
in openoffice...
after i loaded into it, it asks me for a filter selection and when i choose one it just closes
what should i do
i am using ver 1.1.0
....a painfully slow computer mandrake 9.2
and 64 dying megas of ram
if you know of any good english rpm files for the app please tell me
,thax in advance

Wish I had a straight answer for but I do not. Just some ideas. For one thing, OOo is a gigantic memory eating slug and I would opt for AbiWord if you do not need to open M$office et. al. docs. 64 megs is really not enough to run it and that may be the issue. Or it could be corrupted, not the first time I have read complaints baout 1.1.0. You could try starting it from the CLI and see if it prints anything to the terminal.
