Hmmm...I just do a -net install as root to /opt then run ./setup as a user in /opt/OpenOffice.org1.0.

Well, not wanting to install 200MB for each user seems to make sense to me :) ... I know 80GB HD's cost near nothing today, but I started using PC's when 360K on a floppy was a lot ;) and 20MB HD's a luxury!
