Angry openoffice default language-French??

Just installed Mandrake 10.0. I started up OOo today to find it all in french. And I mean all of it!! I tried to google for an answer, but came up with nothing. Any help I would be greatful for.

i dont know where the configuration file is
but i just uninstalled the french language localisation package and install the english or other language package
next time you fire up ooo it will complain that the previousely installed language package can not be found and automatically swich to the new package you installed.
it is not an elegant way to solve the problem
but ça marche
