openoffice calc question...

imported a file from Excel 2000 however in openoffice everytime i make a change to a cell the whole cell is bordered in red... is there anyway that i can disable the cells being borderd in red when i make these changes... (looks like openoffice is trying to be too helpful)

thank in advance...

Not 100% sure about this, but it may be that you
saved that spread-sheet in excel with version control?

I don't have Excel to verify this...
