openoffice autosave .doc
does anyone know how to make openoffice automatically save a .doc copy each time I hit ctrl-s and save it as an sxw?
thanks, -fibbi |
i don't know, but you may want to post your question at the open office forum.

Dude - pressing Ctl-S *does* save the document. If you are asking how to control the default time interval where an Autosave is performed, go to Tools > Options > Load/Save > General > AutoSave Every > [your preferred number of minutes] -- J.W.

Got it. Would it work to change your default "save" format to be a .doc file rather than as a .sxw file? Tools > Options > Load/Save > General > Standard File Format -- Doc Type (text) -- Always Save As (MSFT Word XP,etc)
Sorry I misunderstood your original question -- J.W. |
