openoffice & excel

I understand that openoffice cannot open password protected excel files, and I also did a search on here to help me out, but I cannot seem to find a utility to remove the password off an excel file. If someone could point me to a website, it would be much appreciated. also, I do not have ability to access microsoft office so I can open and resave the file. Is there a tool just for linux?

thanks in advance,
