openoffice


hi,
how can i edit equations in open office.
do i have to install some thing bz when i click the equation
its not editable.

If you want to edit equations that you want included in a text document, and your primary requirements are that the equations are comprehensible and look right, you should probably use the equation editor.

If, on the other hand, you want the equations to be evaluated, you will probably have to use calc.

If your equations are, e.g., jpegs, included as graphics objects in existing documents then you will have to look at editing jpegs (or it may be better to start again with your own equations).
