Question OpenOffice 2.02 - How to install?


Hii, I have download oo 2.02 the new one from their site.
I am using PCLinuxOS and kernel 2.6.15 and have JRE 1.5.06, How do I set up it?
and how to set it up on the old one?
(replace the old with the new)

If you downloaded the source, you'll want to compile it.

You need to unzip and untar the OOo gzipped file. Change into the RPMS subdirectory and do
Code:
#rpm -Uvh *.rpm desktop-integration/*mandriva*
