Dell Latitiude D810
SuSE SLICK
KDE 3.4
OpenOffice 2.0.2
I have downloaded the .tar file from OpenOffice, extracted, changed to the OO directory and run
rpm -Uvh *.rpm
I ran it logged in as myself but after sudo'ing.
I then ran the SuSE menu .rpm and the icons are on my menu. When I click on the shortcut the little icon bounces and nothing happens.
I have Googled, and searched KDE forums and cannot find anything relative to this, and there are not really any developed SuSE SLICK forums (that I have found).
I had been playing with a few other things on here, dependencies, etc. and seem to have had something crossed up. I did a fresh install and ran those RPM's and it worked.

Thanks.
Any suggestions on GIMP for OpenSuSE?
TIA
I am not sure what you are asking here. OpenSuse ships GIMP so you can install it using YAST.
