You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: package-cleanup --problems
package-cleanup --dupes
rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
The program package-cleanup is found in the yum-utils package.
Hi, iam trying to install a opennac server using yum but am returning with some deps. problem given as above , any solution could be appreciated

You are running CentOS 6.5 ? right?

please post the command you are using
it should be
Code:
su -
yum install opennac
once you install the repo it is in

however you are probably better off building the source code
http://www.opennac.org/opennac/en/download.html
http://sourceforge.net/projects/opennac/files/src/

There is actually kind of a "look alike" yum repo :
http://sourceforge.net/projects/opennac/files/
→ yum → http://sourceforge.net/projects/opennac/files/yum/
→ x86_64 → http://sourceforge.net/projects/open...es/yum/x86_64/

... But the "repo" may not be usable as is ?
May be set up a local repo with the content { repodata/, packages.rpm } ?

here is the problem
you installed the software repo for CentOS 6.5 !!!
and you are using CentOS 5.10
you can NOT use cent 6 rpms on cent5 , they will NOT work

these are the instructions for Cent6.5
https://redmine.opennac.org/projects...i/FromBinaries

you can not just blindly fallow some random web page
this is the cent5 software repo rpm ( to install the epel repo for 5 )
http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel...5-4.noarch.rpm
