openldap configuration

hello,

i'm trying to configure ldap and i have a couple of questions,

1.- i have a db on mysql 4.1 where i have all the people from my organization, how do i make openldap work on that db instead of the bdb?
2.- is there an AUI for openldap? which one's the best?

In the "Linux Journal" from this month - July 2005, it has a 5 page "how-to" for making LDAP work with Windows and Linux clients in a large network.

I have the mag at home. You can either buy it or i'll see what i can muster up. Although, if i manage to muster the article up, i think it's illegal for me to post it.

yeah i guess it's illegal, but the problem is that i don't have a credit card, i'm not old enough
