OpenGL: shifted content displayed in app- or game-window
Hi together,
my first post here and a strange problem, where I cant find any help. I have a Kubuntu 5.04 system with an ATI 9600 graphic card and a "BigDesktop" configured (means an extended desktop over 2 monitors). I installed the ATI drivers, which are coming in Ubuntu via apt-get, and thought that everything should be right, but now this : When I'm starting for example "Chronium", the game-window is shown, but the content is kind of shifted to the left. Please see the screenshot, that I have posted on "linuxforen.de". Due to the reason, that this is my first posting, I'm not allowed to post a URL, so please copy this and have a look by your own: h**p://***.linuxforen.de/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=13625 The game is running, but you cant see anything due to the shifting to the left. And to make things worse: I tried to start "glxgears" from the console, the window with the gear-wheels appear, but only the window without the gear-wheels. In the console, my FPS are tracked successfully. I dont have any ideas, whats wrong here, so I would appreciate your help very much. Thanks in advance, Regards Andreas |
