OpenGL error while trying to run HL2 mod

I recently installed the Half Life 2 mod called No More Room in Hell. It brings up the error "Failed to create GL context: Could not create GL context". All my other games based on the Source engine work fine. How do I fix it?

First of all - there is a subsection called linux games dedicated to such matters. Please, post your future posts there.
Tell me. Are you running the game by steam or as stand-alone installation?
I can see you've got intel videochip so can you check if direct rendering is enabled and what your mesa version is?

OpenGL version string: 3.0 Mesa 9.0.3
I have it on Steam, and direct rendering IS enabled.

Try updating to a newer Mesa and/or kernel. I can start that game with Mesa 10.0.1 without any problems on my Radeon videocard.

Updated to Mesa 9 and the 3.11 kernel yesterday. I've been looking how to update to Mesa 10. I can't find how to update it. Any suggestions?

If you run Ubuntu or a derivative distribution you can try the xorg-edgers ppa: http://www.ubuntuupdates.org/ppa/xorg-edgers

When i do the install command from the terminal with the package "mesa" like in the PPA launchpad website, it gives "Unable to find package mesa".

It's a graphic library so the package is called libgl1-mesa-something.

This PPA should be more stable than the xorg-edgers
