Openfire Jabber server + Psi client issues

Hello,

Since the Psi forums are down and I feel ignored on the Openfire Community site i am reposting this here; hoping anyone can help.

We are experiencing some issues when using Openfire 3.6.4 server on CentOS 5.5 with the Psi Jabber client ver 0.14 running on Windows Clients:

- Apparently Psi is capable of storing server certificates upon first login, yet in our environment this is not happening even though the "Trust this certificate" option is clicked. Every time the Windows PC is rebooted, the certificate approval dialog appears again. Anyone know about how to fix it?

- Also Openfire is configured to authenticate the users via LDAP plugged to our Active Directory backend, and distributions lists have been set up to populate the client side roster; yet when we make changes to the lists the revisions are *not* updated on the clients... what gives?

I hope anyone can help us out with this issues.

Thanks in advance.

I set up the same arrangement a cpl years back... I seem to remember that OF would cache ldap information but I never got a chance to look into why. In regards to certs, maybe the rootcert.xml file needs to be manually updated - ref: http://psi-im.org/wiki/SSL_Certificates_%28QCA1%29

I also found the info regarding rootcerts.xml, yet from what I understand and have tested, that config file only applies to Psi up to version 0.10... since we are using the latest 0.14, it is not present and most likely wont work if added manually.

Thanks anyway
