Openbox not making a folder on MXLinux in /home/<user>/.config
I installed openbox on MXLinux and it did not create it's default configuration files in the .config folder. I first used Openbox on Arch Linux, Is it perhaps different on debian? Or did something go wrong?
Version: Linux Helios 4.19.0-1-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.19.5-2~mx17+1 (2018-12-12) x86_64 GNU/Linux |
I've found that it's just easier to own the files directly in the root folder and create a symbolic link into .config
If there is a better way to do this let me know. |
There was nothing in ~/.config back when I installed Openbox in Debian Stretch (which the current MX is mostly based on), so I simply copied the /etc/xdg/openbox directory to ~/.config.
