OpenBox configuration question(s)

hey guys,
I have recently started using OpenBox on my machine and i love the easy configuration options like the kye bindings and mouse bindings.however i do need to configure a couple of more things.
first and foremost i need to change my wallpaper...how do i do that?
second how do i put icons on my desktop...like if i want to browse through my home directory with a GUI like konqueror...what do i do then?
Also i use konsole for my command line work...just wondering how i can make it transparent?I like konsole over the rest of the shells is because i can use shift and left, right to toggle through the different shells i have opened...kind of liked tabbed browsing(which i love...i hate opening up tons of windows).
i have looked through google and through the docs on openbox's website...they mention something about using openbox with kde or gnome...i didnt really understand it though so i wasnt really able to give it a try...unfortunately.
anyways...i would really appreciate some help.
thanks

Well, I'll take on the ones I know at least.
As far as openbox goes, you'll have to get something specifically suited for background changing. Esetroot, feh, and others are pretty good for this. I use the pinboard feature of ROX-Filer to accomplish this. That's how I pull off desktop icons as well. As far as desktop icons, iDesk will do the same thing.
Your other questions...good luck! :P
