openAFS client installation problem

Hi everybody!

I've been trying to install an openAFS client on a MVME6100 PowerPC running Linux Live (based on Red Hat 8.0) but I still get no progress. And that's maybe I dont know exactly how to perfor the installation process.
Here's what I've already tried out:
1) I downloaded the openAFS source code from openafs.org but after I got i t compiled I don't know how to integrate it with the kernel
2) I downloaded the RPM packages from the same site (including openafs-kernel-source-1.2.13-XXX.rpm, openafs-kernel-1.2.13-xxx.rpm, openafs-compat-1.2.13-xxx.rpm, openafs-client-1.12.13-xxx.rpm, and also the openafs-1.2.13-xxx.rpm and openafs-1.2.13-xxx.src.rpm) and I tried to install the but at the first attemp to rpm the openafs-1.2.13-xxx.rpm (which is supposed to be installed first) I got the following errors:

[root@mvmepz01 RPM]# rpm -i openafs-1.2.13-rh8.0.1.i386.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
rpmlib(PartialHardlinkSets) <= 4.0.4-1 is needed by openafs-1.2.13-rh8.0.1
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.3) is needed by openafs-1.2.13-rh8.0.1

Can anybody give me some hints to get over this problem?
Thank you.
