Open Source PC asset management app?

Can someone recommend a good open source PC asset management app?
We are mainly a Linux server shop here, with Windows and MAC workstation.

Any suggestion is appreciated.

What does "asset management" mean to you? A way of tracking which user
has which machine? Keeping track of licenses of installed software, too?

A search for the terms "+asset +manag*" on freshmeat might help :}
