[RESLOVED] Open source flow chart creation

Anyone know of a nice open source linux program for making flowcharts? I need to make a lot of flowcharts for my programming class, and I'd like to streamline the process a bit.

There not still using them are they? They where considered bad and out dated back in 1992, when I was forced to use them once ( urrghh ).

Anyway theres Kivio Which is a part of KOffice.

For UML theres also Umbrello If they teach anything more up to date.

I've tried DIA but its seems that some functions are not so straight forward as they should be.
I've just discovered that OpenOffice draw can also be used to draw flowcharts and seems very promising

What process do you use when starting a project?

(We've just been jumping in, which is proving harder to manage, so was looking for flow chart programs when i saw your response.)
