Open Office on Fluxbox?

Im trying to install open office on my laptop running slackware 10 and fluxbox. Whenever I try to run ./setup it says "./setup: cannot connection to X server". Any ideas? Im running this from within fluxbox.

Are you trying to install as root? Try, as a normal user:

xhost +

The "su" to root and try running the setup program again.

Good luck!

Yeah, I foudn out my problem after I decided to try to install another piece of software and that didnt work either. As it turns out, I had logged in as my normal user, and su'd to install them. Apparently that doesnt work, so I just installed them as a normal user and that worked.
