open office


my openoffice language is somehow Russian by default , i want it to be English(US) i cant read Russian, i tried changing it but it didnt work , i cant figure out how to change its language from CLI , please help.

Dude, I don't think that you can change the openoffice settings on a CLI. But, open openoffice word program. In that, press F10. Then, goto the 7th tab; you are currently on the first one. In that 7th tab go to the last option. In that, click on the third (+) and first option. There, you can see Russian in one of the drop-down menus. Edit that to English US
