Open GL for redhat 9

I want to compile a program that uses openGL,

but it gives me a problem:

GL/glut.h: no such file or directory.

I know i need to get open gl library from somewhere, but im a noob, and I have no clue where to start looking.

What graphics card( and which drivers for it) do you have? Did you try installing mesa libraries?

It's an OpenGL alternative for Linux

Good luck!
