Open Flash Equivalent?

Hi All,

I'm thinking about creating a little Flash movie. I'm aware of the Gnash, flash-player for play back, but is there any open source software out there yet that I can use to create Flash-type animations?

Thanks,

ab

A while ago, I heard about F4L (Flash for Linux). Never tried myself and not sure how far the project has come now, but it has been under development a couple of years now if memory does not fail me (as it often does).

Regards!
