open files with .ONE extension

Hello,

I am using ubuntu and i would like to open some files that i have created with ms office and specifically opennote.

These files have an .ONE extension, but i do not know what app in linux can do the job..

I have tried to open it with openoffice but i just see garbage in there... is there any program that does the job fine?

thanks in advance

Your best bet is to install Microsoft Office (assuming that you already own it) using WINE.

In my opinion, and it is likely an unpopular one, while OpenOffice is a great office suite that has come a long way in recent years, MS Office is still the best one out there. And, if you are like me, and you OWN MS Office, there is no reason why you cannot use it on your Linux system.

It installed with ease using WINE. It runs very well, as long as you don't use clip art in PowerPoint. (You can use images, but no clip art. Go figure.)
