Question Open-Checksum


What is an Open-Checksum and how do I make/generate one?

I don't know what an open checksum is, but a common way of generating
a checksum under linux would be the use of md5sum

in the repodata of an RPM repository, theres a field called sha open checksum Its not an sha sum, theres a different field for that.

I'd suggest you read the rpm and rpmbuild manual, then. I don't use rpm.
