Ok, so i'm trying to install MythTV...

One of the requirements to install MythTV were to have QT installed. So i download and installed/compiled the QT/X11 Open Source Edition from here, now when ever i try and install something, the very last step i get an error, i'm not at my home computer right now so i can't post it, is QU/X11 already installed on slackware 10.0? Also I need to install MYSQL, i know MYSql is already installed but how do i start it? Thanks.
