ogm and mkv subititles

Why dont I get subtitles using VLC. What package must I install under FC3 to get subtitles? I gather I need a subtitle mixer rite? If u think it's a font problem well althrough the default font file wasn't installed I have tried others with no sucess.

Under VLC you need to tell it to load the subtitles, under "Video > Subtitles > Track 1"

You can also do this with audio, as many mkv/ogm videos are dual audio formats.
