Ogg won't work on KDE 3.4.0 Don't know why either :(


i compiled KDE 3.4.0 the other day from source.
Inc everything kde multimedia, utilities and amarok

Installed liboggflac libogg etc but i cant get amarok, kaffiene
ogg files won't work

Amarok reports Invalid URl when i drag ogg files in , Totem says no valid codec is available

ogg works in XMMS only
any ideas?

your clue is "no valid codec is available"

check to see where these programs are looking for the libs. install the libs there ;^)
