offline update of epel repository


hi,

as every one know for extrapackages other than the packages come along with redhat dvd, we need to download from epel repository, present in fedora site. but in my office due to internet proxy, server cant be connected to that epel ftp site to download while installing packages via yum, so im planning to download all the packages from epel and later create repo on my server. so please any one tel me how to download all the packages on epel site at once

Hello,

Just like you would set up any local repository, prepare the server (http for example) and directory structure and synchronize with the public repositories. Do that on your local machine from outside your office (where you have un-proxied internet access). Next at your office set up the same environment and synchronize your local repos to that one. Here are some guides:
Fedora mirror
Setup Yum repository
Create local Fedora mirror.

Of course you'll need to configure your clients inside the office to point to your local repo.
