Offline Files and Samba

Hello all!

An associate of mine is running linux on his laptop, and is using WinXP at work. For the last few years, he's been using the briefcase-thingy to sync his win and linux-files, but in Xp this is old fashioned. He's trying to figure out how to use Offline Files with Samba. I've been googeling and looking around on the forum a bit on the subject, but couldn't really find any good howto's or sample config files.

Anyone know how/if this is (possible) to set up, or have any experience with it? I have no experience with offline files what so ever, and my samba-knowledge isn't exactly rock solid..

Cheers!
