NVU crashes when I open a file

Well as my title implies whenver I try to open a file with NVU it crashes and I dont know why. Im running RH9 and have Firefox as my main browser.

I have the same problem. Did you manage to solve it?

What method did you use to install it? Was the tar/rpm specifically for Red Hat?

actually I use the Gentoo distribution and the compilation and installation is performed automatically (similarly to the apt-get in debian).

I am installing mozilla because I don't have it installed. However, I could not find anywhere that it is a dependency for nvu.
