nVidia, wine, openGL, RH 9
 

As the subject says, I am trying to run openGL apps in wine on RH 9. My openGL works correctly and great after installing the nVidia drivers from their site, (I can play RTCW just fine (without audio though)). However, running openGL apps in wine does not work, and I have grabbed the openGL binaries from http://wine.dataparty.no/ and they appear to install fine -- I can run the installers just fine and add the correct dll's to make it run but the programs quit. I get errors similar to no implementation for opengl something. Apps such as Kazaa lite run alright, but I primarily want Rhinoceros 2.0 and 3.0 if possible along with MOHAA to run, but my openGL ain't workin.


Could it be my nVidia drivers screwed something up and therefore WINE cannot see my openGL maybe? I noticed that when trying to install billardGL, that it won't install because it cannot find libGLcore.so, but I have found several of those libaries in /usr. I don't want to go back to RH 8.0, what can I do??
