nvidia nvnet module --> slow system

I am still having probs with my nvidia driver for my onboard network card.

When I install the nvnet.o module the system goes mad and refreshing a webpage means that Opera uses 65% of the CPU time. I also tried Mozilla and I had the same problem

I uninstalled the module and used my second network card, refreshed the page and Opera only used 6% CPU.

It seems that the module isn't very good.

Has anyone got any ideas why this is happening? I would like to get my onboard card working so I can clear a PCI slot. Any suggestions? Might be something in optimization, but I don't really know much about that stuff.

thanks in advance
