nvidia drivers in kernel??

It is possible to put nvidia drivers in the kernel?? How??

lackluster 06-29-2003 12:01 PM

why would you want to do that? or do you just mean load nvidia drivers(modules)?

lackluster 06-29-2003 12:02 PM

and of course it's possible - there isn't much you can't do to an OS when you have the source

i read some where that maybe faster to compile drivers in the kernel. I also read that if too much is in the kernel it become slow. I am new in linux. I dont know what to put in the kernel when i want to compile.
