Why do you want a distro with this version as default? Wouldn't be easier to just install the version of this application you want from source?
|
I am making a triboot with Windows Xp SuSE linux 9.3 and FC4 i have it installed in Fedora but it says the drive is busy
|
it says the drive is busy when you are doing what?

From ntfsresize man page, FIRST link on google for the search "ntfsresize linux":

There you will find all version you want, in RPM and .tar.gz. As RPM are most probably Fedora/RH rpm (will they work in Suse? I haven't checked, read the faq?), in the worst case, you have the source to install from source (this will work on any distro, you will need gcc and some developement tools installed however) http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...ckage_id=14232 |
I have the rpms and they are insalled in fedora but I get that busy error
|
have you tried to UNMOUNT the drive?
Have you read what I posted before?? |
No I haven't tried this
|
I wrote a good article on my blog on how to resize an NTFS partition using a live-cd. Here is the link, hope it helps.
