NTFS quest


Wus up ppl,

I have a question is it possible to get Fedora Core 2 to read my NTFS windows partition, I dont want to write to it just read it so i can play my songs that are on it and other stuff like that. And i was wondering is there software to do that or jus you use a package that comes with fedora

its very easy

log in as root and follow these instructions

mkdir /mnt/ntfs
mount -t ntfs /dev/hdax /mnt/ntfs

you can then read your ntfs drive, but change the /dev/hdax to the correct name, such as /dev/hda1

Fedora does not include AFAIK NTFS support with the default kernel.
